About
So Bingo, an unusual name for an online bingo brand, but a history in the industry since March 2003 suggests it works! The site was originally one of the many sites on the larger Dragonfish network but in 2015 it became part of the United Commissions stable.
Since launch, it has undergone only a couple of changes in the overall design of the site, but it has a bright colour scheme with details of the welcome offer taking centre stage on the homepage. Also on the landing page, you will see a selection of the 500+ slots that the brand has to offer. Whilst it may not have the impressive design of some other brands, it’s far from the worse that we have seen.
Additionally, there is talk of the ‘fun bingo community and the choice available in their bingo arena. The brand says you will be spoilt for choice and we can’t disagree there!
You can get in on the action as soon as you register an account with them and that takes just a few minutes. You’re then ready to play and see if this is a brand that has you asking ‘So?’ or if it’s one that has you exclaiming that it is ‘so bingo’!

Welcome Offer
There’s more than just a deposit on offer at So Bingo when you register an account because this site, like many powered by the same software, gives you access to a free play room. Unlike other sites, this was not a room open to you for a few days, but we were able to access the Freemium room and get in on the free bingo action for a £150 jackpot, no deposit required.
The deposit welcome offer for new players is a 300% bingo bonus on your first transaction of at least £10. The maximum bonus that can be awarded is £100.
Wagering Requirements
The wagering requirements for the new player welcome bonus is just as we would expect, and is standard to many sites on this network. You have to wager 4x the amount of your deposit and the bonus received in order for your bingo bonus to be converted to real cash.
The bingo bonus can only be used to buy bingo tickets and bingo contributes 100% to meet the requirements laid out in the terms and conditions. Should you request a withdrawal before meeting the requirements, any bonus funds in your account will be forfeited at the time of withdrawal.
Deposits and Withdrawals
For banking options, So Bingo offers the usual ways in which to fund your online bingo account with them. Below are the options available to players from the UK:
- Debit cards
- PayPal
- ApplePay – if you are using an Apple device
- Telephone: call 0800 901 2510
Additional options are available to those players who are not based in the UK:
- Interac – Canada Only
- Telephone: call +44 800 901 2510
The minimum deposit and withdrawal amount is £10.
Promotions
Unfortunately, the dedicated promotions page at So Bingo was lacking in content. The only special listed was the welcome package for new players and Hot Picks. The latter was just a couple of slot titles and not an offer of free spins or a special deal.
With that said, there is plenty happening around the site by way of jackpot games, and a popular favourite with bingo players, free bingo. It’s just that there is nothing that makes this brand more appealing than any other on the network.
Bonus Codes
Bonus codes are not something that is used regularly on this site, but, if you choose to receive communication from the brand, by email, SMS, or telephone, then you may find yourself being sent the odd bonus code from time to time that awards you free spins or a deposit bonus.
Game Selection
When logged into your account, the bingo and slots choice from So Bingo can be viewed from the main lobby. You have a choice; bingo or slots and My Offers from the left-hand menu.
Opting for bingo, you have a top menu with your bingo set out in different areas. Live Bingo, Special, Exclusive, Money Makers, Free, Grand 55, and All. When you have chosen the area you wish to visit, you will see a selection of bingo rooms. Details of the rooms include:
- Room name
- Ticket price
- Prize Pot
- Progressive Jackpot (if there is one)
- Time until the next game
- Game type
- Number of players
- Chat host’s name (if there is one on duty)
Like all Dragonfish sites, you will find two 75 ball variants (pattern and five-line), 90 ball, and 52 ball bingo to choose from. Tickets range in price from the free games to anything up to £10 for The Grand 55 game (where you can win anything up to £55,000).
If you choose Slots from the menu, you will find that like bingo there are different sections to choose from. Top Games, Trending, New Games, Daily Jackpot, Progressive, Slingo and Instants, and All Games. All that is seen when you have chosen a section are the game logos.
In total there are over 400 different slot and instant win games to choose from and an impressive selection of developers have their name in the hat. You’ll find popular titles like Gonzo’s Quest from NetEnt, Fluffy Favourites from Eyecon, Immortal Romance from Microgaming, and many more in amongst the portfolio of slots available.

TV Adverts
So Bingo has not taken to the small screen to advertise their wares since they launched back in 2003. This would suggest that it is unlikely that we are ever going to see a TV advert for this brand.
Should they choose to make a commercial in the future, we will update this area of our review.
Review Summary
Summary
So Bingo is sadly just another site of the hundreds that we see from the Dragonfish camp. Although this means that players are guaranteed a trusted and secure gaming environment in which to enjoy their bingo and slot games, the brand does nothing to make itself stand out from the crowd. It’s for this reason that we could only award this particular brand with a 3.5-star rating. With that said, it’s Dragonfish so if you are a seasoned bingo player, you’ll know just what to expect on a visit to this site.
